A year ago I was up in Connecticut, and I went to UCONN to visit the puppet school. The person I wanted to speak to wasn't there, but I took some pictures of the displays. I was toying with the idea of doing grad school there in puppetry, but that didn't work out. Anyway here are a few pictures from the school. I still make puppets and will be making some ceramic rod puppets for the upcoming fest in May.

Big Time Score

Last night I went with Julie to these people's house to look at an incredible amount of ceramic studio supplies; a wheel, pyrometer, two kilns, a bunch of glaze ingredients, respirator, and tons of tools. She decided to get it, and she got a great deal! It is really exciting to have pretty much all of the basic necessities to start an actual ceramic studio. I am excited about the wheel. Anyway I'll take photos of the studio when it is all set up.

Work Ethic Motivation

Starting working a lot at the studio. I really can't flake off or I am in for a real beating for sure! Need to get these tiles done, get a bunch of good work together for the Folk art Fest, if we are accepted, and then the Stella Haus show this November! This will be a test to see if I can actually develop a consistent studio work ethic for once!

Next Several Months

Well it is time to get serious about becoming a productive artist instead of working the 9-5 type deal, and coming home to maybe paint or sculpt or not. Nope. Now I am committing to my friend to do this art fest coming up in the near future. Also I have these tiles due, and a show next Fall at Stella Haus.

I can't let Button/Julie down! We are going to submit our entries and work up a good bit sculptures and paintings for this gig. I won't be on the internet too much down the road, but I will be checking in and posting the progress. This new partnership is a going to be be good. I think I have to prove to myself that I can have the discipline to consistently produce good pieces that are interesting and entertaining.

Almost the end of November?!

These months are passing too quickly. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is this Thursday. When December first hits the Christmas Decor is going to be dazzling my apartment, and the hair reindeer horns, painted red nose, and tacky yet festive sweaters and dresses will be worn...I'm such a Christmas lunatic.

I've been staying a lot with my friend lately, and we have been building up this ceramic studio. I am staying there more often because of many reasons one of them being this is a place I can work on my projects. My apartment is too dark and cramped to really get much done. My friend and I are entering an art festival coming up, so we need to get our entries in soon. I'm excited about this art studio and future art adventures coming up.

Talking to new people and finding new topics and ideas to toy around with in painting and sculpture. Delving into something new for me, something extra terrestrial and these schizophrenic fantasy scenes. The challenge being trying to come up with an interpretation of an idea someone remotely explained to me. I talk to people, and when they try to explain something they are envisioning in their mind it is fun to see how I imagine it.

Stella Haus Show Fall 2012

Dayna De Hoyos and I spent Friday night at her studio doing some filming, me playing dress-up, going to the grocery store, and taking photographs. More on the photography at a later date...

...As for the night Dayna took some candid video of us talking about things and outfits that would work visually. She made a lovely short video of a few things we did, and I am getting ready for the show for the next several months at her Stella Haus art gallery and studio space in downtown San Antonio. It will be fun to see what I come up with and how the months progress.

Back Working

Well I am back working on paintings, sculptures and drawings again. It never really stops, but I am getting back into more of a ritualized mode of coming home at night, cleaning the apartment, playing with dogs, and then putting together materials I think are good. Ceramics too!

This is how I would rather spend my time. See for the past few months I got another full-time job. Two full-time jobs just about killed me, so last week I just called the second one quits. Instead of using my imagination to do what I enjoy I was catching any time I could get to sleep.

Now I am at it again with the Conservation Society making ceramic tiles for their awards they give out every two years. This year I will make it work out better than last time. Also, I have this other youtube channel called LadyGardenHoe, and I have been having a real good time posting videos on it. TheScruffyJones youtube channel will be strictly for art projects; more of a specific themed channel while garden hoe is more v-logging, skits, and being a buffoon. No matter where I go I am a buffoon anyhow, so it all works out. I was making the two channels kinda be like my two personalities, but they are pretty much the same old me on both. I think I have resolved the personality disorder. I just accepted that I am confused. Hey, I do know I like guys, so that is on thing I know for sure!

I am looking forward to tonight. I will go home and work on some sculptures and drawings for the LadyGardenHoe youtube channel. She is going to have a subscriber appreciation deal on there and give away some sculptures. Scruffy will have the video up in a couple of days showing the work that will be given out as a little "Thank You" to the folks who have been watching my completely idiotic videos. They are fun as hell though!

Man, it has been busy lately. Well I know I give that Garden Hoe a hard time, but when it comes down to it she helps, me and I help her. It is just good to make fun of her because it is easy for me to do. Anyway, I am working on a bunch of crazy bottle stoppers. LadyGardenHoe is going to have a youtube contest soon, and she is going to need to have prizes to give away. I think handmade sculptures on bottle stoppers will be a cool prize for her subs to enter. What else? Oh yeah, she also went ahead and got a second job as a custodian at Walmart for crying out loud! This girl is killing me. I am exhausted and can't get no art work done during the week. Well, I'll keep you all updated as much as I can. Back to work.

Well folks, I bumped into some computer problems last night, so I didn't get my bag burning video posted. It should be up tomorrow. I finished the dress that I made out of plastic bags for the video. LadyGardenHoe will have to face it that plastic bags are good because I can make close out of em! Also I am finishing up some more paintings that I'll post on ebay this Sunday. They're the paintings about the girl and her dog drinking beer out in the woods series. One of em has a 3-d frame and sculptures on it. Shipping for it will be a little pricey because the thing is a bit heavy. Back to work.

Bag Burning Demonstration

What's Coming Up...Warning: Gross Nightmare Story

For awhile I was going to do beer review videos and make some art having to do with whatever came to me on the buzz of whatever beer. Now I'm going about it a different way because I realize I don't want to glorify alcohol the way I was gonna.

A new direction I want to go for a bit is documenting dreams. I know a lot of people do this, but who cares. Lately my dreams have been perfect for some paintings, so you'll soon see those. Some real creepy nightmares that I have to resolve. I can't just let them go. Last night in a dream a demonic gremlin-looking thing was coming after us from outside some house. Whilst the demon was rabidly screaming at me from outside the window Ryan runs over and slams the window down on its finger. Then pulls out one of his knives and cuts the finger off...blood spraying everywhere; on the walls and on my couch. But the thing is that the demon was still crawling around outside trying to get in...

...Drifted to another Dream that was actually lucid. I did have control, but it had to do with the supernatural and not wanting to go investigate upstairs. I was with a group in some basement. We were down there trapped by fear of confronting some ghost. I don't believe in ghosts, so I went up. Then I realized it was just a dream, so I went and told them all. They didn't believe me...

...Drifted to the one that woke me up. I thought I was awake and not dreaming. I was laying on my bed with boots on. My boots were coming off. I figured that my movement was making them fall off, but no. Next thing the boots were yanked off of me hard by some force. Then that force grabbed my ankles and yanked me to the floor. That's when I woke up...

Good Lord, there are more nightmares. I hate them, so I need to make them into paintings and some more booze sculptures. On the plus side I had an awesome dream about my little dog-friend, Buck. It was very happy and sweet. He jumped in this natural pool and once in the water he turned into a turtle and swam around all free and happy. Once he got out of the water he turned back into a dog except he had on turtle/transformer body armor on with his cute puppy head exposed. I'll make some pieces about that too.

Back in San Antonio

For almost two months Ryan and I have been together 24/7 up there in that Northeastern snow. We finally made our road trip back to San Antonio. Today was my first day back at work, and I realized I didn't even document our trip very much. Got just a few pictures. I'm editing this post because previously I wrote that I didn't get one picture, but I forgot that I did take a few. Not that it wasn't picture-worthy, but I think we were overwhelmed by the trip, the dogs, the truck, and just getting to the place we are going to call home for a little while.

Since we love The Office so much we thought it would be appropriate that we stay our first night in Scranton, PA. After staying there we headed south on through W. Virginia, Virginia where we stayed another night in Staunton, then off through Tennessee. We drove through Knoxville, Nashville, and spent the night in Jackson. That was on my Birthday. We pulled in so late, and we were both tired, but we still went out to dinner which was fun. The next morning a pretty bad snow and ice storm suddenly came through as we headed toward Memphis, but fortunately we only got into it a little bit.

After Memphis we crossed the Mississippi River into Arkansas. We drove through Little Rock, and I thought that town looked pretty neat. I loved the railroad bridges that go over the river. Then on through Texarkana, and we were finally in Texas. Ryan did the majority of the driving. After Dallas I drove the last leg home, and it felt so short. Once we hit Austin the rest of the trip was a breeze. Good thing both of us love road trips, and we kept each other entertained with fun games and enjoyed seeing a large part of the country. I added two new states to my list, and those are Tennesee and Arkansas. Now I have been to 40 states.

We got on the road headed to my apartment, and both of us got butterflies we were so excited. We have been unpacking and setting up, and the place is coming together very well. Very soon I will be able to post youtube videos and get back into creating more sculptures and paintings. It is so exciting to be starting this chapter.

Road Trip Back To Texas

I've been up here in New England since December 15th 2010, and tomorrow Ryan and I head back to San Antonio, Texas in a moving truck. The snow up here has been relentless. At one point I made a snow cave, and that was a lot of fun. We'll be on the road tomorrow and for the next few days. For now here is a video of making that snow cave. Hope you enjoy.

Change of Plans

After long thought and discussion Ryan and I have decided that I will fly up to New England for a just li'l bit, help pack his things, and we'll drive back to Texas together in a moving van or truck. We are going to live in Texas and get things going instead of me moving up there. We decided this for many reasons. Therefore, I am so excited to announce that I will, in fact, be building the organic garden early this Spring! This weekend I will make a different video for both of my youtube channels, so stay tuned. Thank you all for your support!

Went on a trip to Connecticut for almost the entire month of October. It was only supposed to be for 2 1/2 weeks, but I missed my flight back (that was very stressful) and stayed an extra nine days. I left my dog back home, and he was well taken care of by my roommate and friends. While I type this he is sleeping on my lap. We sure missed each other.

While up in Connecticut we did a lot of hiking, shooting, and I even got some art work done! I am really excited because now I have some video editing software to make better videos. I am going to devote a day pretty soon to learn the software very well. Here is a video of one of the days there. I had so much fun.

Now I am back in San Antonio preparing for my move up there. I am going to be extremely busy for the next month preparing for this move. I will be selling art on ebay, etsy, and putting up some of my furniture on craigslist for sale...maybe I'll have a garage sale, hmm...I could sell ceramic dishes that I have made and never use.

Why am I moving up there? Well, I fell in love with the place, and the person with whom I am in love asked me to marry him! Actually he is the guy in the video explaining how to use the AR-15. I said yes. Also, I am looking into the University of Connecticut's Master's program in puppetry. I hear it is pretty tough to get in that program, but I want to give it a shot. Now for November...

Ebb and Flow of Motivation

I am always working on some art project in the evenings and weekends, but I admit there are times when I just do not have the motivation to work on them at all. It is pretty rare, but I get into this depressing low where I am sad that I don't want to work. I was in a rut like that this weekend, and it was so sad. I would look at my project, add a little piece to it, then go lie down or call someone on the phone, Lol. I find that I can help myself out of these depressions by forcing certain desired behaviors, so that is why I keep my work out and available for me to force myself to add a piece here and there. It is kind of a psychological trick I play on myself. Well, I am happy to say that it works! I am really motivated to work and cannot wait to get home to start this evening. I love the feeling of being motivated right after a low point. It is like the change of seasons!

Still working on my Sam Adams Beer Party House from last year! I will have it finished by this Christmas.

Dealings with Chicken George

I thought long and carefully about whether I should write about this or not, but I saw a couple of postings on Chicken George's website about how his love interests, heartbreaks, dramas, etc. inspire him to create and how what he creates helps him deal with with the reality of pain and disappointment in life. He is more eloquent with language when it comes to these matters. I also find that the more open I am about myself the more able I am to create and the more open people are with me. Life ain't about appearing all awesome when really you are not all the time. Discretion is important when revealing personal info about oneself, but pick and choose, share, and you'll find that others will share with you too. This is a humbling life.

Clearing Grass and a Little Planning

Starting from scratch and with improper tools we begin clearing away the spot for planting. Before any planting, though, we must remove a good layer of the existing soil, lay down gravel, and build some raised beds that will be filled with good organic soil that I can get here at Gardenville. Can't wait to get this going!

New Youtube Channel

I opened up another youtube channel, and my user name is "LadyGardenHoe." I will get a picture of me using an actual garden hoe this weekend for the backdrop of the channel. In the meantime there is a picture of me posing with the beginning of a little compost pile and my old strawberry pot. This channel will be devoted to organic gardening, canning, and pretty much organic anything. I used to make fun of people who bought organic produce and other products, but I've had a change of attitude and feel responsible to share why I changed and how I'm gardening and eating. If I help even one person I am happy. I have one video up so far of a little praying mantis on my deck, and I will do the next video in a couple of weeks about heirloom seeds. Very Nice New Tool

This is a letter set that my dad sent to me as a gift. Made right here in Iowa, USA it is a very nice way to mark just about anything metal, wood, some plastics, and leather. I am actually using mine to initial some ceramic figurines and dolls. I like to make dolls because I sew their clothes with tiny hand-stitching. You all shall see some finished dolls soon. Some are super creepy too! Here's a video on the Letter/Number sets.

How to Stop Hiccups

Stopping those dastardly and annoying hiccups can be a real challenge at times. I wish I knew where I got this idea so that I could give credit to whomever gave it to me, but stopping hiccups seems to be a very psychological endeavor. Green Lakes Organic Ale

I'm really loving this beer by Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon. It is Green Lakes Organic Ale, and it is certified organic by Oregon Tilth. It you are not familiar with what a Tilth is, it is a group of organic gardeners (I'm pretty sure all over the country) who get together, share ideas, have farmers markets, etc. "Tilth" of soil is why this group is named so. At any rate, it is a really good amber ale, and I was very happy I bought the sixer. Scruffy and Buckwheat Gonna Be Drinking Beer

Here is the video of me introducing you all to my boy, Buckwheat. He and I are going to go on beer-tasting adventures to local breweries in Texas. Eventually I hope to branch off to more breweries around the country. I love beer. I subscribe to "Imasofat" on youtube, and they introduced me to a local beer in Pennsylvania called Saranac. See their beer adventures at this link. Saranac makes an IPA that I want to try, and they have much more. Anyhow, Buck and I are going to make videos of us visiting breweries, and after our beer-tasting adventures I will come back to my place, cook some food to go along with it, eat and drink, and then finish the experience off with making a piece of artwork with the bottles of beer (or make something inspired by that beer and the experience of it all). This will be the "Eat Food and Drink Beer with Scruffy and Buckwheat" series of videos. I cannot wait to release the first one. I think I know who my camera guy will be for that... Love you all!

Yeah I've been in hiatus for awhile, but I'm still plugging away at things. Some drastic events taking place that require some re-evaluation of what I need to do, but at least my roommate and friends crack me up and are the best. Something kinda funny is that our internet service is basically run off of cell towers or whatever. Well, last night a couple of my friends were over and claimed that the energy from my internet is bombarding them, and that they had to leave. Well I unplugged the internet for them, and they felt better. They say it is making them constipated when they are over, Lol. My friends...and I love them. Anyhow, some new projects are being made as you read this, and a new video coming soon. Can't wait! Thanks for your time, and I love you all.

Buckwheat

This is my new friend, Buckwheat. Well, see my friends Chris and Richard want to call him different names because we are all kinda taking care of this dog together. I kinda got all alpha-female and went ahead and declared him Buckwheat, but really, does the dog give a care what he's called? I guess things will settle in as we go along raising him. As far as I am concerned he is most definitely a Buckwheat. Reminder: you can click images to enlarge them, which is well worth seeing him up close. Richard found the dog in some San Antonio neighborhood and called me on Saturday to see if I wanted one. I thought a few minutes and said yes. Come to find the dog was still nursing, and is only three to four weeks old, so we bottle feed him. I carry him under my shirt so that he can have some bonding time. The mom dog is Chihuahua, but we don't know what the dad is, so who knows how this dog will grow. That will be a fun surprise. In the near future Scruffy and Buckwheat videos will be released because every adventurer needs a dog friend to help keep company.

Re-posting this video of me waving. Now, Bosco I know it upset you seeing me run like that in a dangerous place, so sorry if I scare you again. This video represents how relieved I feel now. Those damn tiles and this deadline have kicked my bottom so hard the past couple of months. This morning I was happy to find that the rest of the tiles for today's ceremony were finished and the firing went well. I will go jump in the river this Sunday I think. Scruffy is back now.

Tile and Kiln Meltdown Leads to Perseverance

Monday night was reason for celebration for me since I had loaded 19 tiles into the kiln, and that meant that I was basically finished with this exhausting project that has kept me very busy for a long time. Kiln firings are very crucial because things can go wrong, so I had to make sure I did it well. This particular kiln is an electric one that you can program and leave it to fire the work, and when it reaches temperature (in this case 1889 degrees F) the kiln shuts itself off to cool. I was in a hurry, I was tired, and I forgot to put an indicator cone in to refer through peephole. Never again will I have the attitude that I can leave a kiln.

Tuesday morning I checked the kiln, and it had gone into emergency error. Long story short, I foolishly relied on what the computer told me instead of getting the pyrometer and checking the internal temperature myself. What happened next was basically the kiln took all day Tuesday, and it shut off. When John put the pyrometer in the temperature said 2000 degrees. I said, "Ok, well let it cool down because 2000 is as high as I want to go." Next morning...

...Wednesday morning, 7:15 am. I walk outside to the kilns, and my kiln was cooled down to 100 degrees. I opened up the lid to experience the worst possible result that could happen...a complete meltdown. Certain clays and glazes can't go to ultra high temperatures because they will melt the way this did. I will post pictures of this soon. It was quite a sight to behold. At any rate, all 19 tiles have converted into clay and glass amalgam of sorts, no mercury, but basically the clay and glaze have homogenized in such a way that the entire shelves are now glazed with a flat, yet I must admit, beautiful surface. Clay and glaze have coated everything including the kiln brick and heating elements. The expensive shelves and posts are ruined.

I kneeled down at the kiln and just sat in shock. Then I got up and walked inside and had my own meltdown. See I have been at a point with this project where I was so ready to be done with it that I was going to sleep for the next three days after being done. I had reached my breaking point of exhaustion and emotional depletion.

Then I went outside and sobbed on the steps of one of the studio houses. I was apparently unnoticed because I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was one of the extension cords that the stone sculptors use being pulled out of the socket and dragged away. I ran over, almost missing my chance, and grabbed the thing. When I looked up it was the neighbor lady stealing a damn extension cord from us. Keep in mind my face was all puffy, red, and some mascara bleeding down my face added an extra touch of insanity to this situation. I grabbed the cord and said, "What are you doing?" She didn't speak English well, but she did say, "Oh. Sorry." Then I yelled back at her,"No you are not sorry. You are doing this on purpose...You are stealing." Again another sorry and she walked away as quickly as she could, and as she was walking I told her I was telling on her.

That was just a little aside. Anyhow the result of this meltdown has turned out to be a blessing because of the treasure of lessons that I am learning. It turns out the temperature that the computer displayed was way lower than the true temperature...we think I set it in celcius, but the indicator light for that was not on. I programmed the kiln the way I always have successfully in the past. Major equipment malfunction.

On Wednesday morning it seemed such an insurmountable task to have to start over with more tiles and continue this. I was ready to just give up and give the project to someone else. Problem is these are due on May 13th because the ceremony to award these tiles is on the 14th. After talking to some good folks, and after calming down, by that afternoon my energy had been restored, and I was able to persevere through this to finish the project. I knocked out eight tiles that afternoon. I am getting faster.

I'll let you all know as soon as it is finished, and I'll post pictures of the kiln shelves. They are actually quite beautiful, and I will turn it into a sculpture. We have a meeting on Monday with all ceramics instructors, and I will be made example of when we discuss kilns and firings. Aaahhh the lessons, the lessons. This is something that I wil never forget.

My patience and stamina are being tested, but I am almost over this mountain called "making tiles for the San Antonio Conservation Society period" of my life. I invited folks kinda on a whim on Saturday to just come and go as they please after 6:00pm. No big whoop, just food and beer and all. Well my damn friends are the best!

Tippy brought me flowers and cake, Wes and Rob brung me top o' the line Carlo Rossi (Burgundy), Zenith made me an awesome mix-cd, Shannon came and filled my car with nice gas, Jessie came, George, John, and my family called; oh my word it was so great and had such a great day.
I almost had a Pa Ingalls moment; you know how on "Little House on the Prairie" when pa would swell with emotion because the Lord blessed him with miracles and friends and stuff? Well, that's sure how I felt that night.Also when John called he told me the good news of Benita's arrival. Check her out at this link. Thanks a million John Wells! Name drop time, lol.

But I wouldn't have it any other way. Now that this fun weekend is over momma gotta get back into her work. So tonight is the inception of a real work ethic that will surpass that of what I have been practicing. It is a little more relaxed as far as the actual timing of work, but it will be smarter. Winston Churchill once said something to the degree of; "Never stand when you can sit down, never sit when you can lie down." Really it is working smarter if anything. This new work ethic is part of the bridge between the current era of my life to a new extraordinary future, this is a good transition. Im starting my 34th year now...

Benita: My First Wine Stopper

Introducing Benita the Wine Bottle Stopper. Since this is my first one of these I am hoping the ergonomics are decent enough for Mr. John Wells. My goal is to have them be both decorative and functional. Benita is one of the longhorns that visit John at his field lab in the beautiful Big Bend.
Go to that link, and once you are there scroll down to the bottom and see his daily blog. I've plugged him on here before, but I am a fan of what he does and want to introduce him to those of you who've never known of The Field Lab.
I like to make these assemblages of paper, glue, wire, paint and whatever other materials need to be added. Remember if you click on the picture it gets big, and you can see detail better.
My friend, Tracy, took these pictures. She's real darn good at getting me to do
poses and stuff, and she's good at taking pictures. She's also a super hot lady, I mean damn! I'll have to post a picture of her on here sometime. I asked if she wanted a picture with Benita, but she was all shy.
What I'll do is set up a little gallery of these pictures because there are lots of good ones. It was her idea for me to do the splits too! Thoughts Of This Weekend

Gotta get busy. I'm looking to this weekend as being one where I will complete some new work to share with ya next week. The challenge will be to make some history paintings to go along with my booze assemblages. I am reinvigorated from last weekend, but making art and projects and such one can burn out at certain times. I keep plugging away. It pleases me to see the results.... I was also pleased to see that Chicken George (I know I obsessively and shamelessly plug the man all the time) has on one of his sites (click this link if you know what's good for you): The Trojan Horse and Castle one of my faves. Entertainment; a mission of mine to create it, but more importantly wanna know what is my responsibility and commandment? To spread joy to as many people as possible. That is my job, and it is actually a real profession. Me an artist? eh, I don't know about that...whatever. Maybe to some I am considered an artist, but I guaran-damn-tee you there are those who would chew their own arm off before considering me in this realm, shoot all of these definitions well, shoot!

Thoughts a-racin-round my mind, and I just kinda spit em out as I go at times. Then there are times where clarity is crucial, but hell, I think I am rhyming now, and that's special! Lol. That was spontaneous and stupid...funny though. I think all the wine I've been dranking has killed off some major brain cells, so lately I need to recover and just chill out on that. Just sitting here gagging with a spoon b/c I am posting these beer folks up so cheap. Yea, I know some folk might say "Aw Hell, $30 for a stupid hooker with a beer bottle up her beehind?" Well, I'll tell you what. She is sitting on top of it, and yea I agree $30 aint the right price. No, it should be way more than that. I just know that for right now these things are priced as cheap as they'll ever be. Reason is I sure wouldn't mind selling them, but really I am also building up hundreds of different characters with scenes going along with their respective bottles, boxes, and places in history.

Anyhow, I'm really starting a collection that I hoard in my place for awhile. Plus I play with them cuz it does get kinda lonely up there in my apartment. When George visited me the other day I watched him play with the prostitute and first beer guy that I made, and they are perfect together. I'll maybe do a little video of me playing with all my characters. Kinda like I'm reverting back to a wierd scene of me playing with Barbies when I was a girl.

Bowl I Made for Chicken George

Here is a bowl I made for Chicken George Zupp as a thank you for having me out there in that Big Bend desert for a week. The bowl is made from a cone 6 clay and cone 6 series of glazes. Justin and George showed me a great time, and I highly recommend a visit to the area. The bowl portrays Justin on the ground in the desert following George's orders to lure the hell hounds who killed his dog, Checkers, to the decoy bunny. This saga is available on youtube, but some of George's are not available anymore.

You have to go between the two youtube channels to get the full story, but it is well worth it. George's youtube channel is chickengeorge1236 and Justin's is Judadiah. I have links to them on the right side of this page under "Websites that if you don't Go to Em Then Your Prolly on Crack" section. These artists and others in this folk art/youtube/ebay war are well worth the time it takes to follow, research, buy their art,stalk, whatever (don't stalk them because that is my job). Well floks this is Scruffy. Allegra is a snob and I don't like her much. Im not even going to put her website into my "Websites That If You Don't Go To Em Then Your Prolly on Crack" section of my website cuz she dont need a bigger head than she already got.

I guess Allegra is part of me, but I dont get how. I dont understand how it could be. I mean she does kinda look like me, so I first thought she was my twin sister that I never met, but that doesn't make sense because I actually know what it is to be her. Sometimes I feel her same emotions, but sometimes I dont. It's like im in a "Twilight Zone" show or sompthingI know that she was in the Army, and I was in the Army. Thing is her dumb self signed up and I didn't! I have no idea how THE HELL I ended up in the Army. One day in 1999 I was in Germany. I looked in the mirror, was wearing one of them B.D.Uniforms, was about 20lbs thinner than I remembered, had no make up on, and I lost it. I got all upset and crying. Turns out I really liked the Army, but I didn't get a lot of it. I let Allegra do all the work.

Anyways, Allegra is a snob cuz she's always criticising how I spell and how I talk when I see no problem with it. She think she better than me, and she aint.

That's all I got to say. If you see her site just ignore it cuz she's not that good. Also if you see her in person let her know that Scruffy's in town and I aint afraid to outsell her any day on ebay or anywhere else.

Wen I got back from Whidbey and family and am now in SA i got all depressd. I wanted to make paintings and stuff like i allways do but i just wondered around the house and slept and finaly a few days later i started the garden back up again. That was good. It makes you feel real good when you do garden cuz it looks pretty the vechtabables grow and are so better than at the stores. you see Im starting a artist/farmers market down hear since San Anton needs more of em so bad. Pearl Brewry and some other spots have em but the one Im gonna do is gonna be the best cuz it will be at Inspire Fine Art Center. I wanna kick off the first for Christmas then have real good ones after that every month. There are so much laws though which makes things hard. But the man aint gonna keep Scruff down. I will keep yall post. Hears (up above) a pitcher of me inspecting a barrel of a big gun at Ft Casey on Whidbey Island in Wash. I will have more pitchers of my trip up soon. I missed doing this site. Hair Extenchins and Lengua Tacos

I was craving cow tongue for lengua tacos the other day cuz a friend of mine made some but he made it real gross. He baked it in the oven... and thats just wrong.

I simmered mine and this is what it looked like when it come out of the pot. I almost throw it up it was so gross. If you click on the picture and make it big im serious you mihgt puke it is so gross.

While it was simmering tho I was dressing up real fancy and put one of my cutest skirts on that show off my big beehind and then I put on some hair extenchins. It was weird cuz I was dressed up all pretty but the house had the aroma of irony meat and stuff. it didn't fit in good at all with me being all dressed up and stuff, but it was real funny.
